I am so excited for you and to follow along on your journey! We all should learn to unattach from an anchor....then our lives can lead us to where we need to go, so much easier said than done. You are doing it!
Guam sounds - and looks - fabulous! Greetings from cold, stormy UK...
Hope you find the right place to make into home really soon. Exciting task, love your Pinterest page.
Your comment about worldly possessions on the ocean, somewhere, takes me straight back to being nine; arriving in Aden with very little, staying in the Rock Hotel (the only Modernist building in the place) a week, before moving into a flat with plain army furniture and hardly any of our stuff.
The excitement six weeks later when our three wooden crates arrive after crossing oceans. What was packed, what got left behind? Here's the record player, Mum's cushions, Dad's pipe rack! Where are brother Pete's toys? Most importantly are all my books safe? They are..!
Thanks for taking me back there, to that excitement! x
Sounds fabulous, Shelley. What an opportunity. Enjoy.
It’s wild being halfway around the world. The people here are so nice.
Guam! Gorgeous, and it looks so peaceful! Thanks for sharing the journey!
It’s very beautiful here; also remote!

Everything has its pros and cons, but you are right. Sometimes we need to let the wind blow us where it wants.

Wow, you’ve experienced this as a child! I do anticipate opening the packing boxes like it’s Christmas morning, lol.
Glad you are finding your way and embracing the adventure. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!
At some point living here will just be living…just like when we moved to San Diego…but I’m the meantime it does feel like an adventure.
Hi Mary Jo! I’m happy to share what I experience here. Thanks once again for reading!
I am going to love reading about your Guam adventures and seeing it through your eyes 😊
